A 47-year-old South Boston man faces a felony charge of violating probation of a felony offense, according to Halifax County Sheriff‘s Office records.

Tommy Ray Shotwell of Love Shop Park Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Feb. 8, 2018, and deputy J. Florence served the warrant Monday.

• Beverly Carroll Roberts, 70, of Cluster Springs Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and deputy T. W. Crute served the warrant the same day.

• Bruce Henry Miller, 31, of Burton Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and deputy C. D. Wilborne served the warrant the same day.

• Nathaniel James Corley III, 41, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and deputy D. L. Clark served the warrant the same day.

• Ronald Owen Lloyd, 48, of White House Road, Nelson faces a misdemeanor charge of destruction of property with intent.

The alleged offense occurred May 30, and deputy D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Thursday.

• Jason David Godwin, 41, of Providence Road, Roxboro, North Carolina faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 21, and Barksdale served the warrant Thursday.

• Teedra Madera, 44, of Edmunds Street, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Sgt. M. W. Bowen served the warrant Friday.

• James Douglas Cole, 45, of Watkins Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Bowen served the warrant Friday, and Cole was released on summons.
