A Scottsburg woman, 53-year-old Stephanie Michelle Walker of Newbill Trail, faces a charge of felony violation of probation on a felony offense, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Deputy T.W. Bush served the warrant on Thursday. The alleged offense occurred on March 17, 2016.

• Lysaundra Camille Jones, 51, of Ashcroft Place, South Boston, faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to bring a juvenile to court when required. Deputy C.S. Hudson served the warrant on Thursday for the alleged offense occurring that same day.

• A 16-year-old juvenile male faces the civil charge of possession of marijuana and the misdemeanor charge of the purchase of alcohol by a person under the age of 21. Deputy C.S. Hudson served the warrants on Thursday for the alleged offenses occurring that same day.

• Dorothy Jean Schrenk, 67, of Alton Post Office Road, Alton, faces a charge of shoplifting/ altering merchandise with a value of less than $1,000, according to South Boston Police Department records. Cpl. B. Smith served the warrant on July 6. Schrenk was released on summons.

• Ethel Mae Puckett, 63, of Alton Post Office Road, Alton, faces a charge of shoplifting/altering merchandise with a value of less than $1,000. Cpl. B. Smith served the warrant on July 6. Puckett was released on summons.
