A 38-year-old Scottsburg woman faces a felony drug charge of possession of schedule I or II substance and a felony charge of bail/pretrial violation, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Shawn Short Williams of James D. Hagood Highway was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Sept. 3, and deputy T. M. Moore served the warrants the same day.

• Richard Anthony Jones, 34, of Lower Liberty Road, Halifax faces a felony bail/pretrial violation.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 3, and deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant the same day.

• Mary Huddleston Tuck, 73, of Spencer Lane, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing and a misdemeanor charge of bailee violation of release on a pretrial condition.

The alleged trespassing offense occurred Sept 3, and Moore served the warrant the same day. The violation occurred on Sept. 4, and another agency served the warrant Tuesday.

• Owen Tuney Layne III, 30, of James D. Hagood Highway, Scottsburg faces a felony charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 14, and another agency served the warrant Sept. 4.

• Sarah Kessler Hudson, 28, of N Nichols Ferry Trail, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 4, and deputy A. C. Dunn served the warrant the same day.

• Jamal Kenwann Thaxton, 26, of Acron Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of bail/pretrial violation.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 3, and another agency served the warrant Sept. 4.

• Victor Craig Hudson Jr., 32, of Cedar Grove Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 4, and deputy C. J. Yeatts served the warrant Sept. 5.

• Benjamin Hudson, 21, of Cluster Ridge Trail, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery and destruction of property.

The alleged offenses occurred on Monday, and eputy R.L. Compton served the warrants on Tuesday.

• Gordon Coleman Whitlock, 57, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces a charge of violation of probation of a misdemeanor offense, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Sgt. A. Whitmore served the warrant on Tuesday. Whitlock was held with no bond allowed.

• Shawntae Monque Logan, 26, of Lower Liberty Road, Halifax faces a charge of disorderly conduct.

Officer L. Perkins served the warrant on Tuesday. Logan was held under a $1,500 secured bond.
