A 31-year-old South Boston man faces a felony drug charge for possession of a Schedule I/II substance and a misdemeanor contempt of court charge, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Christopher D. Newman of Hicks Street was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Thursday and July 22, and Deputy C. G. Martin served the warrants Thursday.

• Jessica Gayle Fallen, 27, of Peartree Lane, Nathalie faces a felony charge of vandalism and misdemeanor charges of assault and battery and being drunk in public.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Deputy T. M. Moore served the warrants the same day.

• Justin Robert Shotwell, 33, of Hodges Street, South Boston faces a felony probation violation charge.

The alleged offense occurred July 7, 2016, and Cpl. S. Britton served the warrant Thursday.

• Trisha Marie Bates, 40, of North Main Street, Clover faces a misdemeanor capias to show cause.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Moore served the warrant the same day.

• Dalquan Lavon Harris, 27, of East Bishop Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor good behavior violation charge.

The alleged offense occurred July 19, and another agency served the warrant Thursday.

• Jesse Wayne Davis, 26, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 4, 2018, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrant Thursday.

• Curtis Cash, 22, of Buffalo Road, Clarksville faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred July 17, and another agency served the warrant Friday.

• James Edward Wyatt, 32, of South Boston faces charges of possession of marijuana (subsequent offense) and public intoxication, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer J. J. George served the warrants, and Wyatt was held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail on $4,000 secured bond.

• Romello Alejandro Madera, 18, of South Boston faces a charge of possession of marijuana.

Officer B. R. McGuire served the warrant, and Madera was released on summons.

• Gale Ann Stephens, 32, of South Boston faces a charge of public intoxication.

McGuire served the warrant, and Stephens was released on her own recognizance.

• Jerman Donell Younger, 25, of South Boston faces charges of child endangerment, reckless driving and eluding a law enforcement officer.

Cpl. C. L. Collie served the warrant, and no bond was set for Younger who is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.

• Raashaun Newman, 32, of Halifax faces a felony charge of shoplifting.

Officer J. M. Desantis served the warrant, and no bond was set for Newman who is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
