A 28-year-old South Boston man faces a felony charge of arson of a dwelling, a felony charge of destruction of property and a misdemeanor charge of driving with a revoked or suspended license, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

David John Land of Philpott Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Thursday, and deputy J. L. Franco served the warrants Monday.

• Russell James Hediger, 31, of Leighwood Trail, Halifax faces felony charges of possession of a schedule I or II substance, unauthorized use of a vehicle and destruction of property.

The alleged offenses that occurred Jan. 1, and Franco served the warrants Monday.

• Breshaun Iziah Harris, 20, of Williams Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred July 6, and Franco served the warrant Monday.

• Demetrius Lamontic Ferrell, 42, of Chestnut Creek Road, Halifax faces a felony probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred March 7, 2019, and Franco served the warrant Monday.

• Kenneth Donald Shotwell, 54, of Dryburg Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant the same day.

• Michael Alan Grimley, 27, of Dryburg Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and deputy D. L. Clark served the warrant the same day.

• Josie Destini Lane, 26, of Pittsville Road, Gretna faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member and a misdemeanor charge of destruction of property.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 21, and another agency served the warrants Friday.

• Daryl Devonte Mills, 23, of Country Green Apartments, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 24, and deputy T. W. Bush served the warrant Friday.

• Machalia Diane Vassalle-Parker, 24, of West Main Cross, Findlay, Ohio faces charges of trespassing, resisting arrest/obstruction of arrest and providing false identification to law enforcement, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer D. Blanks Jr. served the warrants Friday, and Vassalle-Parker was held on no bond.

• Angela Denise Henrriquez, 48, of Golden Leaf Road, Nathalie faces a charge of shoplifting.

Sgt. M. Bowen served the warrant Friday, and Henrriquez was released on summons.

• Antria Ke’shell Small, 22, of Lincoln Drive, South Boston faces a charge of destruction of property.

Officer A. Dunn served the warrant Saturday.
