A 51-year-old South Boston woman faces a felony charge of violating probation, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Chandra Barksdale Moore was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Feb. 4, and another agency served the warrant Thursday.

• Tony Andrew Venable, 55, of Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 24, 2020, and deputy C. D. Wilborne served the warrant Friday.

• Shaqwan J. Richardson, 24, of Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge each of attempting to elude police, driving while license is revoked/suspended and failure to appear.

The alleged offenses occurred May 25 and June 21, and deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants Thursday.

• Nicholas Ray Anderson, 41, of Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and another agency served the warrant Thursday.

• Crystal Brandon, 29, of South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 18, and Garber served the warrant Thursday.

• Justin Terrell Miller, 23, of Danville faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred April 29, and another agency served the warrant Thursday.

• Mary Hope Layne, 41, of Alchie Lane, Nathalie faces a charge of violating compulsory school attendance, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer A. Dunn served the warrant Friday.
