A 27-year-old South Boston man faces four felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Kade Quentin Conner of Philpott Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Feb. 28, and Deptuy T. M. Moore served the warrants Aug. 30.

• Laura Leigh Moody, 30, of Magnolia Drive, South Boston faces two felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The alleged offenses occurred Feb. 12, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Aug. 30.

• A 16-year-old juvenile faces a felony charge of assault with intent to maim.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant the same day.

• Allen Fred Holt, 34, of Huell Matthews Highway, South Boston faces two felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The alleged offenses occurred Feb. 18, and Deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants Tuesday.

• Adam Wayne Roach, 24, of Darby Road, Roanoke faces misdemeanor charges of contempt of court and good behavior violation.

The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 13 and Aug. 15, and another agency served the warrants Aug. 30.

• Van Pleasant Jr., 69, of Reverend Coleman Road, Clover faces two misdemeanor charges of vandalism and a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

The alleged offenses occurred Wednesday, and Deputy C. D. Wilborne served the warrants Thursday.

• Michael Thomas Barksdale, 54, of Bold Springs Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 1, and Wilborne served the warrant Wednesday.

• Randy William Seamster, 44, of Hickory Creek Road, Gladys faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred July 8, and another agency served the warrant Wednesday.

• Lorie Ann Suarez, 42, of Clays Mill Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Deputy P. C. Clayton served the warrant the same day.

• Patrick N. Salts, 37, of Herbert Allen Trail, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Deputy J. A. Short served the warrant the same day.

• Edward Ray Angel, 58, of McCanless Street, South Boston faces a charge of felonious assault with intent to maim, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. C. Collie served the warrant Thursday, and Angel was held on no bond.
