A 25-year-old South Boston man faces a charge of buying or receiving a firearm from another person or aiding in concealing a firearm, knowing that the firearm was stolen, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Keyshawn Jamal Johnson was charged with the alleged offense, and Inv. C. Collie served the warrant Friday.

• Malina Justine Hicks, 36, of South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

Cpl. J. Throckmorton served the warrant Friday.

• Edward Aaron Bryant Jr., 50, of South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

Cpl. L. Perkins served the warrant Thursday.

• Tanya Priscilla Nunez, 40, of South Boston faces three misdemeanor charges of violate compulsory school attendance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

The alleged offenses occurred March 29, and deputy J. B. Ragans served the warrants Thursday.

• Erica Elam, 37, of Long Island faces a misdemeanor charge of credit card fraud.

The alleged offense occurred March 4, and Ragans served the warrant Thursday.

• Rhonda Johnson, 53, of Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant Friday.
