A 42-year-old South Boston man faces felony charges of forging a check, uttering a check, fraud by false pretense and possession with intent to distribute stolen property, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Woodson Brad Rice of Farm Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Oct. 23 and Jan. 30, and Deputy J. C. Young served the warrants Wednesday.

• Sharon Denise Farmer, 47, of Grubby Road, Halifax faces a felony charge of assault of a police officer.

The alleged offense occurred March 29, and Deputy T. W. Bush served the warrant Wednesday.

• Sara Lynn Satterfield, 25, of Blue Ridge Regional Jail, Halifax faces a felony charge of grand larceny.

The alleged offense occurred April 2, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrant Wednesday.

• Christopher Lee Martin, 26, of Marbry Hill Road, Randolph faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a provision of a protective order.

The alleged offense occurred June 3, and another agency served the warrant Tuesday.

• Twanee Monique Sabb, 21, of Meadville Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offense occurred May 25, and Deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant Tuesday.

• Allison Duenos Puckett, 27, of Aspen Street, Danville faces a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Deputy J. S. Garber served the warrant the same day.

• Shyteria Dereonna Ferrell, 19, of W. Oak Hill Drive, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy C. G. Martin served the warrant Wednesday.

• Kaila Miller, 28, of Guill Town Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred June 4, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Wednesday.
