Authorities with the South Boston Police Department are investigating multiple home break-ins.

In the last two weeks, two homes have been broken into on Marshall Avenue and one on Penick Avenue, according to a news release issued Tuesday by the department.

In the same time frame, the department has responded to a rash of vehicle break-ins, as well.

Anyone observing suspicious activity is asked to call 911 immediately.

Police have obtained several sources of video and pictures from surveillance cameras in the pictures that are related to the home break-ins.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or with any other information relating to the crime is asked to call the South Boston Police Department at 434-575-7273 or the Halifax County Crime Line at 434-476-8455.
