Area law enforcement are trying to locate a man with outstanding warrants for his arrest, 34-year-old Quinn Tucker.
Tucker has an outstanding warrant for felonious assault and two capiases issued by Halifax County Circuit Court on Jan. 28 for violation of probation on a felony offense.
Tucker is known to frequent the Riverdale area of South Boston, and was spotted at Hupps Mill Plaza on Friday at about 1 p.m., according to South Boston police.
Following Tucker’s sighting Friday, the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office and Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office deployed their K-9 units in an attempt to track and locate Tucker, according to Randy Redd, public information officer for the South Boston Police Department. Redd said the K-9 units searched the area around Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital including Hamilton Boulevard and Beechmont Road.
Anyone who sees Tucker or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
