A 53-year-old South Boston man faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Ronald Allen Davis of Bane Street was charged with the alleged offenses when Officer B. McGuire served the warrants on Saturday.

Davis was held on a $5,000 secured bond.

• Anthony S. Melton, 54, of Summit Drive, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public/curse and abuse.

Officer J. George served the warrant Saturday.

• Mitchell Lewis Saxon, 21, of Dan River Church Road, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery.

Cpl. B. Smith served the warrant on Saturday, and Saxon was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

• Randy Christopher Anderson, 46, of Abbott Hill Road, Halifax faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

McGuire served the warrant Saturday, and Anderson is being held on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

• William Edward Rogers, 60, of Mountain Road, Halifax faces a charge of being drunk in public, curse and abuse.

McGuire served the warrant Sunday.

• Joshua Owen, 23, of John Henry Brown Road, Clover faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

George served the warrant Sunday, and Owen was held on a $2,000 unsecured bond.

• Darold Lavon Rice, 47, of St. Patrick Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina, faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

McGuire served the warrant Monday, and Rice was held on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

• A 37-year-old South Boston woman faces a felony charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a felony drug charge of possession of a Schedule I/II substance and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Eileen Marie Slemp of North Main Street was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred June 12 and Friday, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrants Friday.

• Christopher Donald Weise, 20, of 13th Avenue South, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, faces a felony drug charge of possession of a Schedule I/II substance and a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Franco served the warrants the same day.

• Garry Thomas Comer, 61, of Halls Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Sgt. W. G. Yancey served the warrant the same day.

• Casey Lamont Glass, 31, of Blairs Court, Blairs faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred June 4, and another agency served the warrant Saturday.

• Tyrik Tavon Harris, 26, of Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant the same day.

• Brandy Johanna Villeda, 25, of Irish Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge for a good behavior violation.

The alleged offense occurred June 12, and Deputy J. S. Garber served the warrant Friday.

• Braelyn Macy Martin, 18, of Dixon Lane, Halifax faces a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of objection of justice by threat/no force.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Franco served the warrants the same day.

• Hamam Hafeed, 19, of Wilkerson Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Garber served the warrant the same day.

• Melanie Denise Breedlove, 33, of Old Rustburg Road, Lynchburg faces a misdemeanor charge of a community based program violation.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 26, and another agency served the warrant Monday.

• James Patrick McCall, 38, of Rocky Lane, Danville faces a felony probation violation charge.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 15, and another agency served the warrant Monday.

• Nekolas Brandon Martin, 30, of Maplewood Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant Monday.

• Kevin Lorenzo Monroe, 26, of Cumberland Road, Farmville faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred June 12, and another agency served the warrant Monday.
