A 37-year-old South Boston man, Lacorey Beard of Beard Trail, faces a felony drug charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants the same day.

• Donna Kay Bomar, 59, of Sandy Ridge Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 31, and deputy T. W. Bush served the warrant Monday.

• Christopher Dean Hubbard, 53, of Halifax Road, Danville faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 18, and another agency served the warrant on Friday.

• Kevin Lorenzo Monroe, 26, of Cumberland Road, Farmville faces a misdemeanor charge of a community based program violation.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 21, and another agency served the warrant Saturday.

• Bruce Anthony Nolan, 57, of Huell Matthews Highway, South Boston faces a misdemeanor assault and battery charge.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant the same day.

• Dennis Ferrell, 27, of Clithe Mountain, Oxford, North Carolina, faces a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Garber served the warrant the same day.

• Shamar Deshawn Ross, 23, of Ferry Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Garber served the warrant the same day.

• Dylan Taylor Goodson, 24, of West Store Road, Halifax faces two misdemeanor contempt of court charges.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 30, and deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants Monday.

• Darshae Billie Lee, 27, of McKinney Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and deputy G. L. Jones served the warrant the same day.

• Sharon Kinsey, 66, of Aarons Creek Road, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor assault and battery charge.

The alleged offense occurred July 11, and Cross served the warrant Monday.
