A 47-year-old South Boston man faces two charges of petty larceny and a charge of forgery of bank notes, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Earl Lamont Jordan, 47, of Suggs Avenue was charged with the alleged offenses.

Officer R. McGuire served the warrants Saturday, and Jordan was held without bond.

• David Carl Hughes, 56, of Watkins Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Officer J. George served the warrant Saturday.

• Charles Brantley Mims II, 48, of Link Puryear Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrant the same day.

• Ricky Dean Elliott, 60, of Bill Tuck Highway, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Nunn served the warrant the same day.

• Lorie Ann Suarez, 41, of Stovall Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Deputy G. L. Jones served the warrant the same day.

• Jamar Ray Long, 38, of Lakeside Drive, Danville faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Franco served the warrant the same day.

• Christopher Lee Martin, 26, of Whites Chapel Road, Phenix faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Franco served the warrant the same day.

• Travis Lee Smith, 31, of Dr. Lacy Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred May 6, and another agency served the warrant Monday.

• Kanesha Dudley, 23, of Old Main Street, Brookneal faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member and vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred May 27, and another agency served the warrants Monday.

• Jessie Devon Monroe, 35, of Riverdale Drive, South Boston faces a felony probation violation charge.

The alleged offense occurred April 19, 2018, and another agency served the warrant Monday.
