A 35-year-old South Boston woman faces a felony charge of violating probation and a misdemeanor charge each of assault and battery and destruction of property, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Shonque Quonta Chandler of Bane Street was charged with the alleged offenses, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrants April 28.

• Jarrod Michael Epperson, 34, of Hunter Road, Brookneal faces a misdemeanor charge each of failure to appear and violating probation.

The alleged offenses occurred April 14 and April 22, and another agency served the warrants April 28.

• Jason Todd Crenshaw, 38, of Old Cluster Springs Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a protective order.

The alleged offense occurred April 27, and deputy T. W. Bush served the warrant April 28.

• Peggy Laverne Anderson, 62, of Bold Springs Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred on Saturday, and Cpl. C.J. Yeatts served the warrant the same day.

• Jeremy Jones, 32, of Jackson Lane, Chase City faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear as required after having been charged with a felony or misdemeanor offense or released on a summons.

The alleged offense occurred on April 20, and another agency served the warrant on Saturday.

• Justin Jamall Daniel Howell, 27, of Ponderosa Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred on April 22, and deputy T.W. Crute served the warrant on Saturday.

• Janet Mae Long, 55, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred on April 22, and Crute served the warrant on Saturday.

• Stephon Vadol Hughes, 25, of Watkins Avenue, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear, contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred on Feb. 2, and another agency served the warrant on Saturday.

• Larry Michai Throckmorton, 47, of Melon Road, Sutherlin face a misdemeanor charge each of assault and battery, petit larceny of less than $1,000 from a person and unlawful use or injury to phone lines/ copying or obstructing messages.

The alleged offenses occurred on Sunday, and Crute served the warrants the same day.

• Harry Lee Edmondson, 71, of Easley Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of violating probation of a misdemeanor offense.

The alleged offense occurred on March 8, and deputy T.M. Moore served the warrant on Monday.

• Terarar Shantell Gayles, 30, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of parent not enforcing school attendance.

The alleged offense occurred on Sept. 8, and Bush served the warrant on Monday.

• Kevin Lee Conner, 33, of Daniels Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of pointing/brandishing a firearm.

The alleged offense occurred on April 27, and deputy C.S. Yeatts served the warrant on Monday.

• Rachelle M. Davidson, 35, of Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to obey a traffic signal.

The alleged offense occurred on March 14, and Bush served the warrant on Monday.

w Sharonta Sarah White, 42, of Hicks Street, South Boston faces a charge of bomb/burn threat, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. T. Richardson served the warrant on April 28, and White was held on a $1,500 secured bond.

• Stephen Vadol Hughes, 25, of Watkins Avenue, South Boston, faces charges of failure to appear; contempt of court, and failure to appear, felony offense.

Officer J. Butler served the warrants on Saturday. Hughes was held with no bond allowed.

• Gracie Ann Jones, 38, of Golden Leaf Road, Nathalie faces a charge of failure to appear; contempt of court.

Officer J. DeSantis served the warrant on Saturday. Jones was held with no bond allowed.

• Frank Adam Coley, 58, of Berry Hill Road, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

Officer S. Kenney served the warrant on Sunday. Coley was held under a $2,000 secured bond.

• Clyde Sydnor Jr., 69, of Crawley Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

Officer A.B. Jones served the warrant on Sunday. Sydnor was held under a $1,500 secured bond.

• Phillip Bruce Smyser, 39, of Cedar Lane Road, South Boston faces a charge of violating probation of a misdemeanor offense.

Kenney served the warrant on Monday. Smyser was given a $1,500 unsecured bond.
