A 30-year-old Halifax man, Steven Andrew Cullinane Jr. of Mountain Road, faces multiple charges including felony assault on a police officer, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Cullinane also faces misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, resisting arrest/obstruction of justice by force, driving while drinking alcohol and being drunk in public. 

The alleged offenses occurred on Sunday, and deputy H.O. Weddle served the warrants the same day.

 Brenda M. Dwyer, 53, of Barnesville Highway, Red Oak, faces a felony charge of failure to appear and was issued a misdemeanor surety’s capias. 

The alleged offenses occurred on Dec. 16 and Jan. 31, and another agency served the warrants on Sunday.

• Christopher Craig Whitlow, 34, of Howard P. Anderson Road, Halifax faces felony bail/pretrial service violation charge. 

The alleged offense occurred on Friday, and deputy J.S. Garber served the warrant on Monday.

• Amanda Dawn C. Pumphrey, 33, Old Cluster Springs Road, South Boston, faces a misdemeanor charge of excessive absences. 

The alleged offense occurred on Aug. 14, and deputy T.W. Crute served the warrant on Friday.

• Hailey Nicole Bomar, 19, of Eastover Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana. 

The alleged offense occurred on Friday, and Garber served the warrant the same day.

• Chad Lacy Anderson, 36, of Berry Hill Road, South Boston, faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery against a family member and violation of a provision of a protective order. 

The alleged offenses occurred on March 11 and Friday, and deputy D.L. Clark served the warrants on Friday.

• Claude Liville Wood, 51, of Wood Court, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing and vandalism of property valued at less than $1,000. 

The alleged offenses occurred on Saturday, and Clark served the warrants the same day.

• Tariq Lamar Sydnor, 21, of Lee Syd Moore Road, Scottsburg, faces a misdemeanor probation violation charge. 

The alleged offense occurred on June 24, and Garber served the warrant on Saturday.

• Deandre Jemal Robertson, 21, of James D Hagood Highway, Scottsburg, faces a misdemeanor probation violation charge. 

The alleged offense occurred on Dec. 19, 2018, and Garber served the warrant on Monday.

• Christopher Dean Hubbard, 54, of Halifax Road, Danville faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court. 

The alleged offense occurred on Dec. 11, and another agency served the warrant on Monday.

• Bonnie Lee Williams, 48, of Virgilina Road, Virgilina, faces charges of Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with no operator’s license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer R. McGuire served the warrants on Friday. Williams was held under a $1,000 secured bond.

• Sayvon Enyjawa Jerrells, 18, of Irish Street, South Boston, faces a charge of possession/ purchase of tobacco by a person under the age of 21. 

Sgt. M. Bowen served the warrant on Saturday. Jerrells was released on summons.

• James Harold Henderson II, 32, of Paradise Road, Alton faces a charge of driving while drinking alcohol. 

McGuire served the warrant on Saturday. Henderson was released on summons.

• Lamont Boysie Williams, 43, of Glass Mill Road, South Boston, faces a charge of driving while drinking alcohol. 

McGuire served the warrant on Saturday. Williams was released on summons.

• Jamie Lester Smith, 34, of Traver Avenue, South Boston, faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance. 

Officer B. Jones served the warrant on Sunday. Smith was held under a $1,500 secured bond.
