A 50-year-old South Boston man faces felony charges of rape, kidnapping/abduction and assault while applying pressure and a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Melvin Terry Neal was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Oct. 25 and Monday, and deputy H. O. Weddle served the warrants the same day.

A 37-year-old Nathalie woman faces three felony charges of forgery of a check, three felony charges of uttering a check and three misdemeanor charges of fraud by false pretense of less than $500.

Amanda Dawn Hall of Brush Creek Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Nov. 11, 13, 18 and 25, and deputy G. L. Jones served the warrants Friday.

• Daniel Aaron Wilbourn, 30, of Ferry Street, South Boston faces felony charges of possession with intent to distribute stolen property and fraud by false pretense of more than $500.

The alleged offenses occurred Nov. 16, and Sgt. W. G. Yancey served the warrants Saturday.

• Brooke Ann Clay, 24, of Grubby Road, Halifax faces felony charges of possession with intent to distribute stolen property and fraud by false pretense of more than $500.

The alleged offenses occurred Nov. 16, and Yancey served the warrants Saturday.

• Caleb Jamal Davis, 18, of Piney Ridge Road, Nathalie faces a pair of felony charges of grand larceny of more than $500.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 16 and Nov. 8, and investigator J. M. Burton served the warrants Saturday.

• Ray Reno Inge III, 20, of Kings Court, Danville faces a felony charge of grand larceny of more than $500 and two misdemeanor counts of vandalism of property and telephone equipment.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 15, 2018, and deputy T. W. Bush served the warrants Monday.

• Allison Duenos Lester, 27, of Liberty Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrant Thursday.

• Presley Rose Taylor, 22, of Terry Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and deputy J. A. Short served the warrants Thursday.

• Donzell Demetrius Day, 46, of Washington Street, Ferrell, Pennsylvania, faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Short served the warrant the same day.

• Hazel Elizabeth Page, 44, of Paige Road, Lanexa faces a misdemeanor drug charge of possession of marijuana.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and deputy J. S. Garber served the warrant the same day.

• Kwame Tyriek Gladden, 30, of Lisa Drive, Norfolk faces misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon.

The alleged offenses occurred Saturday, and Short served the warrants the same day.

• Georgia Lynette Sparrow, 43, of High View Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Short served the warrant the same day.

• Brandy Jean Fallen Green, 34, of South Avenue, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 26, and Garber served the warrant Saturday.

• William Heath Bair, 48, of German Creek Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Jones served the warrant the same day.

• Christopher Lee Hammock, 36, of Clays Mill Road, Halifax faces misdemeanor charges of contempt of court, obstruction of justice by threat/no force and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The alleged offenses occurred Nov. 26 and Monday, and deputy R. L. Compton served the contempt warrant on Nov. 26, and Adams served the other warrants on Tuesday.

• Franklin Tyrus Edmondson, 28, of Collins Lane, Clover faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant the same day.

• Kevin L. Coleman, 45, of Robin Hood Road, South Boston faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and obstruction of justice by threat/force, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer R. McGuire served the warrant Wednesday, and Coleman was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Coleman also faces a charge for trespassing and was arrested on Sunday.

• Renny David Young, 31, of Northlake Drive, Durham, North Carolina, faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Officer A. B. Jones served the warrant Thursday, and Young was held on a $3,000 unsecured bond.

• Davey Gene Comer, 50, of Lowery Road, South Boston faces a larceny for shoplifting charge.

Officer K. Bane served the warrant Thursday, and Comer was released on summons.

• Anjelica Dia Betts, 33, of Glenside Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina, faces a larceny for shoplifting charge.

Officer J. DeSantis served the warrant Friday, and Betts was released on summons.

• Corey Deshaun Striblin, 31, of Glenside Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina, faces a larceny for shoplifting charge and a charge of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

Officer J. George served the warrant Friday, and Striblin was held on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

• Willie Andrew Lawson, 38, of Bancroft Street, South Boston faces charges of obstruction of justice by threat/force and being drunk in public, curse and abuse.

Cpl. A Jackson served the warrant Saturday, and Lawson was held on a $1,000 secured bond.

• Alvaro Vidal Ayala, 35, of Ellyson Avenue, South Boston faces an assault and battery charge.

Jackson served the warrant Sunday, and Vidal Ayala was held on a $1,500 unsecured bond.

• Olegarivio Xolo, 52, of Ellyson Avenue, South Boston faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving with no operator’s license.

McGuire served the warrants Monday, and Xolo was held on no bond.
