A 32-year-old Halifax man faces a felony charge each of robbery and attempts, auto larceny and possession of a weapon as a felon, two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member and a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Leeland Ambrose Watkins was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Saturday, and deputy J. L. Franco and deputy G. L. Jones served the warrants the same day.

He also faces a charge each of resisting arrest/obstruction of justice and grand larceny, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. B. Jones served those warrants Saturday.

• Monte Demetrus Crews, 65, of Pine Heights Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and deputy C. D. Wilborne served the warrant the same day.

• Alvin George Dixon, 55, of Chatham Road, Vernon Hill faces a felony charge of auto larceny and a misdemeanor charge of obtain money under false pretense.

The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 11, and deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants Friday.

• Michael Todd Goad, 48, of Ferguson Road, Ringgold faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred April 29, and another agency served the warrant Saturday.

• Ezekiel Williams, 20, of Lee Syd Moore Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 16, and another agency served the warrant Saturday.

• Christopher Charl Kaywood, 39, of Buffalo Creek Road, Buffalo Junction faces a felony charge of violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred April 29, and deputy T. W. Crute served the warrant Sunday.

• Keith Hardy Upshur, 30, of Klagg Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey faces two felony charges of extort in writing.

The alleged offenses occurred June 5, 2016, and deputy H. O. Weddle served the warrants Monday.

• Donald James Myles Bromley, 21, of Alphonse Dairy Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 16, and Weddle served the warrant Monday.

• Tyler Gray Keenan, 20, of Cook Avenue, Brookneal faces a misdemeanor charge of causing a telephone to ring with intent to annoy.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and another agency served the warrant Saturday.

• Sidney Earl Waller, 64, of Scott Jacobs Memorial Drive, Hurt faces a misdemeanor charge of violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 19, and Weddle served the warrant Monday.

• Asma Abdul-Aziz, 19, of Newby Road, Chase City faces a felony charge of failure to return rental property.

The alleged offense occurred June 26, and deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant Monday.

A 36-year-old South Boston man faces a charge of driving under the influence, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Tristan Tyree Wilson of River Road was charged with the alleged offense, and Sgt. A. Jackson served the warrant Saturday.

• Matthew Isaiah Brown, 27, of Mountain Road, South Boston faces a charge of trespassing.
