A 58-year-old Halifax woman faces a felony charge of receiving/possession of stolen goods and a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice by threat/no force, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Lori Ann Belton of Swain Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Aug. 19, 2016, and Capt. M. W. Womack served the warrants Friday.

• Larry Darnell Breedlove, 57, of Murphy Grove Road, Halifax was issued a capias for show cause on Friday by deputy H. O. Weddle.

The alleged offense occurred May 6.

• Jajuan Wilson, 25, of Neal Davis Road, Ringgold faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and deputy J. A. Short served the warrant the same day.

• Floyd Chester Cole II, 36, of East Hyco Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and deputy J. A. Short served the warrant the same day.

• Pasty Gale Wells, 45, of Staunton Hill Road, Brookneal faces a misdemeanor charge of assault while being in a mob.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant the same day.

• Tyler Eugene Thompson, 20, of Staunton Hill Road, Brookneal faces two misdemeanor charges of assault while being in a mob.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Moore served the warrants the same day.

• James Sherman Wilson, 56, of N.C. Highway 62 N, Blanch, North Carolina faces a felony charge of failure to perform construction.

The alleged offense occurred March 31, 2019, and another agency served the warrant Sunday.

• Sara Jane Smart, 38, of Paradise Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and deputy C. D. Wilborne served the warrant the same day.

• Miguel Antonio Orellana, 23, of Crescent Drive, South Boston faces a felony charge of unauthorized use.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Wilborne served the warrant the same day.

• Willie Edward Howell Jr., 48, of Crescent Drive, South Boston was issued a capias for show cause by deputy T. W. Bush on Wednesday.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday.

• Sheryl Lynn Hughes, 50, of Chalk Level Road, Durham, North Carolina faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 22, 2018, and another agency served the warrant Wednesday.

• Joseph Royal, 52, of Mountain Road, South Boston faces charges of driving with a suspended/revoked license, possession of marijuana and distribute a controlled substance, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer B. R. McGuire served the warrants Tuesday, and Royal was held on no bond.
