A 30-year-old Sutherlin man faces felony charges of kidnapping/abduction and assault while applying pressure and misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Caleb Eli Sexton of Melon Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred July 27, and deputy J. A. Short served the warrants Tuesday.

• Neal Grady Sibley, 30, of Mountain Road, Halifax faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offenses occurred April 4 and Tuesday, and deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrants Wednesday.

• Chaterrias Lajuan Harris, 35, of Ellyson Avenue, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a good behavior provision.

The alleged offense occurred July 8, and another agency served the warrant Tuesday.

• Jessie James West, 38, of Chestnut Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 12, and another agency served the warrant Tuesday.

• Justice Nikkole Davis, 24, of Union Grove Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offense occurred July 9, and deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

• Jennifer Darlene Martin, 35, of Magnolia Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

• Tychelle D. Russell, 33, of Summit Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and deputy C. D. Wilborne served the warrant Wednesday.

• Tariq R. Tuck, 29, of Fenton Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Wilborne served the warrant Wednesday.

• Michael Lee Totherow, 29, face misdemeanor charges of impersonating a police officer and trespassing.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants the same day.

• William Jeffery Sydnor, 59, of Sixth Street, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer R. McGuire served the warrant Wednesday, and Sydnor was held until sober.

• Anthony Jerome Lanier, 40, of Jones Store Road, Halifax faces a charge of indecent exposure.

Officer B. McGuire and Cpl. A. Jackson served the warrant Thursday.
