A 67-year-old Vernon Hill woman faces two misdemeanor charges of violating a stalking protective order, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Yvonne Vernessa Ferrell of Ridgeway Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Feb. 3, and deputy J. T. Newcomb served the warrants Thursday.

• Cecil McLaughlin, 68, of Kerns Mill Road, Sutherlin faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 4, and another agency served the warrant Thursday.

• Kenneth Wayne Mosley, 51, of Alchie Lane, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of reckless handling of a firearm.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant the same day.

• Josey May Noblin, 35, of Clays Mill Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and deputy T. W. Crute served the warrant Friday.

She also faces a charge of violating probation. Officer K. Bane with the South Boston Police Department served the warrant Friday.

• Gregory Tibbs, 59, of Penick Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of intoxication, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer J. Butler served the warrant Wednesday.
