A 34-year-old Halifax woman faces felony charges of being a convicted felon with a firearm and grand larceny of a firearm, according to Halifax County Sheriff Office records.

Melissa Lynn Lenker of S. Main Street was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred June 30, and Deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants Thursday.

• Stephanie Michelle Snead, 28, of Sweeney Trail faces a felony drug charge of possession of a schedule I or II substance.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 6, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant July 3.

• Yoan Romero Carasa, 28, of Hodges Street, South Boston faces a felony bail/pretrial service violation, a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court, and was issued a surety capias.

The alleged offenses occurred Dec. 20, 2017, Jan. 4, 2018, and Jan. 19, 2018.

Franco served the warrants and the capias July 3.

• Tiara Lavelle Wolford, 24, of Alchie Lane, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred June 12, and Deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant July 3.

• Tony Lee Cooper II, 32, of Washington Avenue, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred June 21, and Garber served the warrant July 3.

• Efrain Travis Villarreal Jr., 25, of Owens Avenue, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a protective order.

The alleged offense occurred July 2, and another agency served the warrant Friday.

• Jason Nathaniel Vernon, 38, of Mt. Carmel Road, Alton faces misdemeanor charges of eluding police and operating an all terrain vehicle on the highway.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Saturday.

• Kevin Lee Wynn, 43, of Henry Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy C. G. Martin served the warrants Saturday.

• Timothy Brad Puryear, 37, of Link Puryear Road, South Boston faces two felony probation violation charges.

The alleged offenses occurred July 2 and March 15, and another agency served the warrant Saturday.

• Joseph Bradley Campbell, 26, of Buck Horace Trail, Nathalie faces a felony charge of assault while applying pressure, a misdemeanor charge of vandalism and a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Martin served the warrants the same day.

• Maria Joanne L. Womack, 35, Cluster Springs Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant the same day.

• George Allen Scott II, 28, of Cosmos Court, Glen Dale, Maryland faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred April 17, and another agency served the warrant Sunday.

• Anthony Richmond, 22, of Mill Creek Road, Roxboro, North Carolina faces charges of possession of forged notes/coins, obstruction of justice by threat or force and possession of marijuana, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer B. R. McGuire served the warrants Thursday, and Richmond was held on no bond.

• Raishun Wilson, 38, of Eastover Drive, South Boston faces a charge of drinking alcohol while driving.

McGuire served the warrant Friday, and Wilson was released on summons.

• Shaquill Marquel Ford, 26, of Ferry Street, South Boston faces a charge of trespassing.

Sgt. M. Bowen served the warrant Saturday, and Ford was released on summons.

• Kenneth Shane Tuck, 30, of Virgilina Road, Virgilina faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Officer J. Butler served the warrant Saturday, and Tuck was released on summons.

• Jessica Louise Ragsdale, 27, of Ridge Street, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Officer A. B. Jones served the warrant Saturday, and Ragsdale was released on summons.

• Ashley Marie Hodge, 24, of Alderson Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Jones served the warrant Saturday, and Hodge was released on summons.

• Ravin Quiana Townes, 25, of Carter Point Road, Buffalo Junction faces a charge of failure to have liability insurance.

Officer D. Blanks Jr. served the warrant Sunday.
