This week’s winners of Halifax County High School’s Student Shout Outs are Ashante Paige and Dante Mitchell.
His culinary arts teacher, Victoria Worley, nominated Mitchell. She wrote that he has a 100 average in her class and “has participated in almost every kitchen lab we’ve done in culinary arts: making ranch from scratch, apple lattice pie, and many other mouth watering meals!”
Her English teacher Heather Hughes nominated Paige. Hughes said, “Ashante attends Zoom regularly, turns her work in on time and actively participates in class discussions. She always asks great questions and seems excited to learn! Ashante is a very hard worker!”
Teachers at the high school said they are extremely proud of these students who continue to excel in all of their endeavors.
