  • Appointment of Robert Senseney as a history and physical education teacher at Halifax County High School with a salary of $51,107;
  • Appointment of Elizabeth Senseney as an English teacher at Sinai Elementary with a salary of $41,626;
  • Appointment of Lauren S. Wright as a kindergarten teacher at Cluster Springs Elementary School with a salary of $41,626; 
  • Appointment of Dianne King as a SPED teacher at Meadville Elementary School with a salary of $41,507;
  • Appointment of Velvet McCall as a student support specialist at central office with a salary of $50,095 – 10 months + 20 days 
  • Jennifer McElroy to have LEAD SPED teacher responsibilities in a classroom at Sydnor Jennings Elementary School on Fridays with a salary of $2,000; 
  • Tamara Neal to have classroom/LEAD SPED teacher responsibilities in a classroom at South Boston Early Learning Center on Fridays with a salary of $2,000; 
  • Luis Pardo Borraez to teach two blocks of Spanish I at Halifax County Middle School for $74.42 per day; 
  • Katherine Francis to teach two blocks of English at the middle school for $71.86 per day; 
  • Devin Dillow to teach two homerooms at Cluster Springs for $53.92 per day; 
  • Retirement of South Boston Elementary School teacher Charlotte Trent effective Dec. 1; 
  • Retirement of Meadville Elementary School teacher Constance Troy effective Sept. 1;
  • Appointment of David Fallen as a maintenance tech for the maintenance department with a salary of $37,846; 
  • Appointment of Sandra Davis as a SPED paraprofessional at Sydnor Jennings Elementary School with a salary of $17,836; 
  • Resignation of Meadville Elementary School paraprofessional Tracy M. Ragsdale effective Sept. 25; 
  • Suzanne Tuck appointed as a substitute teacher;
