A familiar face at Halifax County High School, Kelvin Davis, has been named principal of the school.

Halifax County School Board approved the appointment of Davis as the high school’s head administrator following a closed session discussion at their Monday evening meeting. Davis’ predecessor, Michael Lewis, has moved into a new position in the school division’s central office.
