Laura Beth Terry, contract officer with Foster Fuels, presents a monetary donation and winter coats to Linda Owen, principal of Sydnor Jennings Elementary School. These funds will go entirely toward meeting the unique needs of the school and will directly benefit the children. Plans are to use the donations to purchase school supplies and books as well as other materials for the students. Jennifer Bryant-Foster, vice president of real estate sales and management, and trustee of the Watt Foster Family Foundation, expressed why giving to schools is so important to her. “While there are so many valuable nonprofits in this community, let us not forget our schools and teachers who work so hard every day for our children. If we want to change the future for our children, we need to start with the schools-both public and private. We can change things one child at a time.”
