PHOTOS: Sinai Elementary School staff walks for cancer association
Faculty and staff of Sinai Elementary School joined together Saturday morning at the Tobacco Heritage Trail for a Pink-O-Ween 5-K to raise money for the Halifax County Cancer Association with participants dressed in costumes. Luanne Walker received a special prize for being judged as the best-dressed participant for the occasion. All funds raised will be donated to the Halifax County Cancer Association to help cancer patients in need of financial support. Participating in the 5-K event are Francine Davis, principal, Sandy Oakes, Michele Fitch, Jeff Oakes, judge, Amy Lipscomb, Jane Watts, Sandi Francis, Jay Cole, Jennifer Cole, Jackson Cole, Will Cole, Luanne Walker and Dixie.
