The TRIO Southern Piedmont Educational Opportunity Center program (EOC) at Danville Community College (DCC) is conducting 2021-2022 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) virtual workshops for area high school seniors and adults who need to apply for financial aid.

The FAFSA for the 2021-2022 academic year became available on Oct. 1 and the TRIO EOC at DCC program has developed a step-by-step FAFSA workshop to assist students.

Conducted via Zoom, workshop presenters will explain why all college-bound students need to complete the FAFSA and will educate attendees on the types of financial aid available.

Interested persons are asked to register by calling 434-797-8577 or emailing

Those who attend will receive an electronic version of the TRIO EOC scholarship listing.
