The Clarkton Bridge, a bridge more than 100-years-old located in northern Halifax County, is set for demolition starting next month and is expected to be completely razed by December.

Clarkton Bridge is coming down, and with it over 100 years of history for a span that has connected Halifax County with neighboring Charlotte County.
