A 53-year-old Harrisonburg truck driver faces a charge of following too close after he was involved in a two-vehicle wreck at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on State Route 360, a quarter of a mile east of State Route 868.

According to an accident report filed by Virginia State Trooper D. N. Clark, Wayne D. Wenger was driving a 2012 Volvo tractor-trailer when he ran into the rear of a 1988 Ford F150 driven by 72-year-old Joseph E. Dunkley of Clover.

The impact caused the Ford to run off the right side of the road through a fence belonging to Richard Wilson.

Neither driver was injured.

Clark estimated damage to the Volvo at $3,500, $1,000 to the Ford and $500 to the fence.
