An unidentified man was transported to the hospital with injures following a two-vehicle wreck around noon Friday at the intersection of Easley Street and Broad Street in South Boston.

The driver of a Dodge Ram 2500 was crossing from Easley Street onto Broad Street when he struck a Honda Element traveling on Broad Street, according to South Boston police officer Jason Butler.

Butler charged the driver of the Dodge with failure to yield the right-of-way.

The driver of the Honda Element was transported to the hospital with injuries. The driver of the Dodge Ram 2500 was not transported.

Both vehicles were totaled in the wreck, Butler said.

No further information was available as of press time Sunday.
