A two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Main Street and Seymour Drive in South Boston early Monday morning resulted in a total of $2,500 damage to the vehicles involved but no injuries and no charges, according to South Boston Police.
Sgt. J.B. Throckmorton reported the wreck occurred at 8:44 a.m. when a 1999 Dodge Durango driven by 42-year-old Samuel Velazques of South Boston was traveling south on Main Street, and a 2010 Chevy Camaro driven by 24-year-old Holly Cook of Farmville was heading west on Seymour Drive.
Both vehicles made contact with each other in the intersection, and both drivers stated they had a green light, according to Throckmorton’s report.
Throckmorton could not determine fault and filed no charges.
