Ms. Alexis Carrington Ford of North Chesterfield and formerly of South Boston died Monday, June 8, 2020, at Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond at the age of 67.

Ms. Ford was born in Halifax County on June 22, 1952 to the late Ms. Fannie Sue Carrington and was employed by Walmart.

Ms. Ford is survived by two sons, Mr. Shawn Ford (Bonita) and Mr. Chris Ford Jr., both of South Boston; one daughter, Ms. Christy Ford of Richmond; five grandchildren, Devonta, Quandrad, Kear, Tavon and Tyler; one great granddaughter, Zanirah; three sisters, Ms. Carolyn C. Williams of Jamestown, North Carolina, Mrs. Barbara Ross (George) of South Boston and Ms. Deloris Carrington of Bronx, New York; one brother, Mr. James Carrington of Bronx, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Ms. Alexis Carrington Ford will be Friday, June 12, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends was held Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Ross, 215 Glendale Drive, South Boston.
