Angela Anderson Reaves of South Boston passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019. She was born in Halifax County on July 29, 1972 and was 47 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Donnie Gray Anderson and Joyce Marie Duffer Tuck. 

She was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church.

She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. 

She was a member of the Hyco Road Hunt Club. 

Angela Anderson Reaves is survived by her husband, Curtis Ray Reaves Jr., of South Boston; a son, William Cody Reaves, and wife Tiffany of Roxboro, North Carolina; a daughter, Amanda Marie Reaves, of Alton; and a special granddaughter, Avery Hope Marie Reaves, of Roxboro, North Carolina; her mother and step father, Joyce and Baxter Tuck of Roxboro, North Carolina; brothers Mickey Anderson (Lisa), Travis Anderson (Juanita) and Cleve Wagstaff (Janice), all of South Boston; step siblings Wilma Owen (Glenn) and William Whitfield (Wanda), both of Roxboro, North Carolina, and Renee Nunn (Chris) of Virgilina; her father and mother-in-law, Curtis and Dale Reaves of South Boston; sister in-law Cherry Rogers (Gary) of South Boston; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Reaves was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Anderson, and one nephew, Daniel Anderson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Reaves will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019, at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Norman Talley officiating. 

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  

The family received friends Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, from 7 to 8:30 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and other times at the home.
