Mrs. Annie “Tillie” Kate Hudson Wyatt of Clinton, Maryland, formerly of Halifax County, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, in Maryland at the age of 87.
Mrs. Wyatt was born in Halifax County on Nov. 18, 1932 to the late Mr. Oscar Hudson and Mrs. Sarah Merideth Hudson. She was married to the late Mr. Richard “Dickie” Louis Wyatt and was a member of Ebenezer Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Wyatt is survived by four daughters, Annie Woodson of Silver Spring, Maryland, Linda Wyatt (Winston) of Clinton, Julia Wyatt of Ft. Washington, Maryland and Sarah Wyatt of Savannah, Georgia; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, one son-in-law, Berman L. Woodson, preceded her in death.
Funeral service for Mrs. Wyatt will be Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Andre P. Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, seating will be limited and a face mask and social distancing is required.
