Clarence Lee Muse, affectionately known as “Buck” by family and friends, was born on Dec. 5, 1940, in Halifax to loving parents Jack Muse and Madeline Petty Muse. Buck was the oldest of four sons and the grandson of fraternal grandparents John Henry Muse (Daisy Colemen), and maternal grandparents Jocephus Petty (Gussie Aldora Easley). He attended New Zion Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age.
Buck is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Louise Coe Muse; his son, Roland S. Muse; and daughter Alexis M. Muse; brother Donald Muse and sister-in-law, Mattie Muse; brother Haywood B. Muse and sister-in-law, Marla Muse; sister-in-law, Ernestine Muse, wife of brother Joseph Muse (deceased); grandson Kenneth R. Muse; granddaughters Ashley A. Muse, Monique C. Muse and Morgan L. Muse; and many more loving relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 a.m.
