Mr. Crawley Victor Lee Majors of River Road, South Boston died on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina at the age of 73.

Mr. Majors was born Feb. 9, 1947 in Halifax County to the late Mr. Abner Majors and Mrs. Dorothy Majors. At an early age he joined St. Paul C.M.E. Church and later became an active member of Berry Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Majors is survived by one daughter, Mary Gilmore of Chesterfield; two sons, Ronnie Majors of Halifax and Edward Lee Majors (Victoria) of Vernon Hill; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Majors Carter of Halifax; one brother, Lawrence Majors of Halifax; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, James Majors, Lewis Majors, Willie Majors, Artie Majors, John Majors, Henry Majors and Robert Majors.

Funeral services for Mr. Majors will be Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 11 a.m. at The Crawford House Chapel with Bishop Michael Byrd as eulogist. Public viewing will be Friday, July 17, 2020, at The Crawford House Chapel, Halifax, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
