Mr. Cyrus William Ferguson Jr. of Nathalie died on Friday, March 19, 2021, at the age of 96.

Mr. Ferguson was born June 16, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Mr. Cyrus William Ferguson Sr. and Mrs. Beulah Rice Ferguson. He was married to Mrs. Joanne W. Ferguson and was a United States Army World War II Veteran. 

Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife, Joanne W. Ferguson; nine children, Cyrus L. Ferguson of East Orange, New Jersey, James Ferguson of Conyers, Gerogia, Howard Ferguson of Detroit, Michigan,  Dorethea Bell (Robert) of New Rochelle, New York, Carl Ferguson of Ocean Township, New Jersey, Eric Ferguson of Auburn, Georgia, Marshall Tucker (Anadee) of Hampton, LaToya Reese (Reginald) of Columbia, South Carolina and Janine Stephens of Halifax; 28 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen McKnight and Bernice Bamberger; one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Ferguson; one daughter, Audrey Jackson Ferguson; and five sisters, Gloria Ferguson, Catherine Brown, Frances Tyndall, Shirley Massey and Rose Perkin.

Graveside service for Mr. Cyrus William Ferguson Jr. will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Ferguson Family Cemetery in Nathalie with the Rev. James Braxton, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
