Mrs. Daisy Mae Mitchell Tuck, 74 died on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at South Boston Rehab in South Boston.
She was born in Halifax County on Nov. 26, 1947, the daughter of the late Roger and Mucie Mitchell.
She was a member of the New St. Luke House of Prayer and Praise Apostle Church in South Boston, where the Pastor is Bishop Harry J. Betts. She was educated in the Halifax County Public School system.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Randolph Tuck; her two children, Carolyn and William Goode III; and two brothers, Calvin and Carlton Mitchell.
She is survived by her two daughters, Pastor Vernell Palmer (Jeffrey Jr.) and Tanya Reynolds (Keith); her son, Brian Tuck (Kenny); two sisters, Virginia Singh (Aubrey) and Mucie Mitchell; her brother, Aaron Mitchell (Barbara); one aunt, Golden Scott; six grandchildren, Minister David Roberts (Natalie), Jenell Kivuti (Richard), Jeffrey Palmer III, Evangelist Jalessa Coleman (Amanual), Isaiah Goode and Elijah (Scoter) Tuck; six great-grandchildren, Juanita (D), David II, Jonathan, Nathan, Nahalie Roberts, and Samuel Kivuti; special great-niece Lakresha Crowder, (Deonta), special cousin Golden Green; and special friends Minister Hervoline Betts, Lillie Hamlett and Lillie Mae Ragland.

Funeral services will be at the Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church, 1417 Elliott St. South Boston, on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Rose Garden Cemetery.
The public walk-through viewing will be Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, from noon until 6 p.m.
The family will receive guests at the home of her daughter, Pastor Vernell Palmer, 1031 Charlie Lawson Rd., Virgilina, VA.
