Mr. Earl Junious Dixon, of Nathalie died on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at the age of 79. Mr. Dixon was born in Halifax County on Oct. 9, 1941 to the late Junious Dixon and Lucinda Palmer Dixon and was married to Barbara J. Dixon. He was a member of County Line Missionary Baptist Church and a U. S. Marine Corps veteran.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife, Barbara Dixon of the home; one son, Earl Dixon Jr.; two daughters, Lisa R. Jefferson and Rosalyn G. Marshall; one daughter-in-law, Alana Dixon; two sons-in-law, Temple Jefferson and Jermere Marshall; three grandchildren, Unitus Beatty, Israel Beatty, and Temperance Marshall; five sisters, Reatha D. Howell, Geneva D. Hughes, Jearlean D. Hunt, Linda D. Brown and Cynthia D. Brown; one brother, Winfred Dixon; father-in-law Willie T. Jones; two aunts; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; father in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Dixon and Phillip Dixon.

Funeral services for Mr. Earl Junious Dixon will be Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Otis Dillard officiating.

Burial will follow in County Line Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends was held Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.

Due to COVID -19 guidelines a face mask and social distancing are required.
