Eleanor Louise Kuba Tomlinson of South Boston passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019.

She was born in Akron, Ohio on Sept. 23, 1934 and was 84 years of age.

She was the daughter of the late Elmer Kuba and the late Lois Bennett Kuba.

Mrs. Tomlinson was married to the late Sherman Dame Tomlinson Sr.

She was an RN and, along with her husband, they started EMS service in Brantley, Georgia.

She was an avid GA Bulldog fan and loved crocheting.

She was a member of Band Booster Club for the Brantley, Georgia, High School Band.

Mrs. Tomlinson is survived by four daughters, Sarah “Sissie” Lenzen and husband Jonathan of Halifax, Barbara Kilbourn and husband John of Maryville, Tennessee, Eleanor ”Ellie” Cooper and husband Al of Brunswick, Georgia, and Charlotte Cline and husband Dave of Roxboro, North Carolina; two sons, Sherman Dame Tomlinson Jr. and wife Donna of Cumming, Georgia, and Richard Tomlinson and wife Kim of Covington, Georgia; and 10 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, at the Williams Funeral Home, Milledgeville, Georgia, with the Rev. Dave Cline officiating.

Interment will be at Georgia Veterans Cemetery.
