Frances Seamster Watts passed away at her home on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at the age of 100.

Born in Halifax County on Nov. 1, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Maude Fallen Seamster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Durell Watts Sr.

Frances was the cafeteria manager at Clover Elementary School for 38 years. She loved to cook.

She is survived by her son, Sam Watts (Wanda Bowen); granddaughter, Twila Wallace; great grandson, Prince Cedric Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Buchanan and Evelyn Seamster; and brothers, Wiley Seamster, Mervin Seamster and Harold Seamster.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Reverend Randy Holmes.
