Johnny “Jimmy” Lee Conner Jr., 79, of Midlothian, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Hattie Conner; and sisters, Rachel, Ruth and Maggie.

He is survived by his wife of 59.5 years, Mary; son Jeff; granddaughters, Alyson and Erin; brothers, Robert and Glen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Agnes, Esther (Don), Clyde, Tommy (Ginny), Betty Ann, Randolph (Mavis), Janice (David) and Barbara; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Johnny was born Jan. 9, 1941 in Clover. He was a member of Clover United Methodist Church. Johnny served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class in Company D stationed at Ft. Myer. He retired from Richmond Rubber/Lewis-Goetz Company after 50 years.

A funeral ceremony was held Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at Gayton Baptist Church in Henrico. Interment in Clover Cemetery was private.
