Mr. Linwood Earl “Skeety” Boxley of Robin Hood Road, South Boston died on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, at the age of 54.

Mr. Boxley was born in New Jersey on July 21, 1967 to Hilda Boxley and the late Earl Suggs. He was a certified nursing assistant and worked at Regional Day Care School until retirement in 2017 and was a member of Jeter Chapel Baptist Church.

Mr. Boxley is survived by his mother, Hilda Coley of the home; one sister, Jacqueline Frazier of Brooklyn, New York; two brothers, Darryl Bethune and Eric Bethune, both of Detroit, Michigan; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda and Earleen.

Graveside services for Mr. Linwood Earl “Skeety” Boxley were held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at noon at Jeter Chapel Baptist Church with pastor, the Rev. Dr. William E. Purvis, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends was held one hour prior to the service. 

Funeral services were provided by Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston.
