Mr. Peter James Bednarz of Halifax passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at his home.
He was born in New York City on June 1, 1955, and was 68 years old.
He was the son on the late Jerome Harry Bednarz and the late Mary Marriott Bednarz.
A man of many talents, he was a one-time casino dealer in Biloxi, Mississippi, former owner of Casey’s Nickelodeon in Hallandale, Florida, and most recently was a photographer at the farmers market in Halifax.
Survivors include one sister, Barbara M. LaMarche of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Terrance McHose of Halifax; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret K. McHose.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
