Virginia Burnette “Ginger” Tindall of South Boston passed away Oct. 7, 2019.
She was born in Durham, North Carolina, on April 19, 1962 and was 57 years of age.
She was the daughter of Cherry Roberson Burnette and the late Robert Joseph “Bob” Burnette.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and taught at Halifax County High School.
She was a dedicated teacher who loved all her students.
In addition to her mother of South Boston, survivors include two daughters, Virginia Tindall and fiancé Michael Clay of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Cherry Tindall of Austin, Texas; her son, Russell Tindall, and wife Erin of Belmont, North Carolina; one grandchild, Braxton Tindall; and one sister, Brooke B. Gasperini, and husband Joe of South Boston.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church with the very Rev. Dr. Susan Grimm officiating.
A luncheon and fellowship will be immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
