To the editor:

I’m still impressed with the Halifax County Poet Society. The poem that I love this week is “The Harvest” by Gwendolyn Tutt. 

For your consideration, I suggest you rewrite the poem leaving out the “you” and replace it with “I,” which will heighten the poem’s emotion. Great job.
