To the editor:

Thank you for allowing citizens to express different views in your newspaper.

We are living in days of uncertainty, frustration and nervous tensions.

Sometimes the cares of this world overtake our thoughts and actions. We all must remember, “God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7. How reassuring to know that God is our refuge. He is personal. He gives us the help, strength and hope that we need to get through this coronavirus. Life is not easy, but in our hardest hours, God will not let us down if we have faith in Him.

We must remember God is more willing to answer than we are to pray. He may lead us into troubled waters to deepen our trust in Him. Trials can be God’s road to triumph.

Follow directions. Stay safe!
