The South Boston Business & Industrial/ 30 & Over Basketball League’s ADUSA Distribution LLC stands alone atop the rankings with a 3-0 record after their Halloween Day win over Benchmark.

However, there are still three other teams without a loss this season those being Pollywood II, Italian Delight and Hitachi-ABB/ Trilum LLC who all hold records of 2-0.

The league hosted four Halloween Day games with the first being Polywood I taking on Polywood II in which Polywood II claimed victory with a final score of 51-37. The Polywood II team was very successful inside the paint with 21 two-point field goals making up 42 of their 51 points.

Polywood II was led by Cameron Brown who scored a total of 22 points.

The second Halloween Day game was between Goodyear and Italian Delight in which Goodyear claimed victory with a final score of 48-45.

Goodyear was able to make eight three-pointers while Italian Delight was only able to make four three-pointers fall.

Goodyear’s scoring came from everyone on the team, and Brandon Howell was the team’s leading scorer with 12 points.

Robert Perkins of Italian Delight led his team in scoring with 14 points, all of which came from inside the three-point line.

Italian Delight still holds a record of 2-0 because Eaton Corporation could not make their game.

The third game of the day was between Hitachi-ABB/ Trilum LLC and Presto.

The final score of the game was 10-0 with Hitachi-ABB/ Trilum LLC claiming the victory due to Presto forfeiting the matchup.

The final Halloween showdown was between the undefeated ADUSA Distribution LLC and Benchmark in which ADUSA Distribution LLC claimed victory with a final score of 83-42.

This was the most points scored by any team on the day with Andrew Martin scoring 28 points and Leslie Henderson scoring 27 points in the win.

Benchmark’s leading scorer was Calvin Chaney who scored 12 points with two threes.

The Players of the Week were awarded to Brown of Polywood II with 22 points, Howell of Goodyear with 12 points and Martin who led all scorers on the day with 28 points.

The Business & Industrial/ 30 & Over Basketball League will take the court at the South Boston Recreation Department on Sunday for the fourth week of play with four games on the schedule.

Two undefeated teams will take the floor first with ADUSA Distribution LLC (3-0) taking on Hitachi-ABB/ Trilum LLC (2-0) at 3 p.m.

Presto (0-3) will take on Goodyear (1-2) at 4 p.m.

Benchmark (1-2) will take on Polywood I (1-2) at 5 p.m.

The final game of the day is slated for 6 p.m. with two more undefeated teams taking the floor, those being Polywood II (2-0) taking on Italian Delight (2-0).
