Seeing the need for an additional meeting, Halifax County High School officials will hold its final mandatory athletics meeting Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Halifax County High School auditorium.

This meeting is for any students and their parent or guardian that have not attended one of the previous meetings held during the summer, and will be the final meeting for the 2019-2020 school year.

Students and their parent or guardian attending Thursday night’s meeting must bring insurance information and be ready to complete several forms that will be handed out during the meeting.

In order for a student to be eligible to participate in any sport at Halifax County High School during the 2019-2020 school year the student and his or her parent or guardian must have attended one of the mandatory athletics meetings and have all forms including an updated and completed Virginia High School League Physical Exam Form on file in the high school athletic department.
